Calls and Privacy

This Page adds to our Privacy Policy. It describes the Parts of our Service the Privacy Policy does not cover in Detail; everything else stands there.

Calls with our AI Assistant

Who answers. When you call Bitcoin Artwear, by Phone or with the Call Button in our Shop, an AI Assistant answers on behalf of Hostingx ApS. It says so at the Start of the Call, and when you ask for a Person, it passes your Request to our Team.

What we record. A Call by Phone is recorded, and a Call in your Browser is transcribed. We keep the Recording of a Phone Call, a written Transcript, a short Summary, the Time and Length of the Call, your Phone Number when you call by Phone, your Country, and the Details you give to have your Order looked up, such as the Order Number, Postal Code or Email. Never give Card Details on a Call; we never ask for them.

Your Country. When you call from your Browser, a Location Service looks up your Country from your IP Address once. We keep only the Country, never the IP Address. On a Phone Call, the Country comes from your Number.

Why. We use the Call to answer your Question, to look up your Order once you have confirmed it with two Details that belong to it, and to document what was said and agreed. Our legal Basis is our legitimate Interest in serving you by Phone and in being able to show what our AI Assistant told you (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). If you do not want to be recorded, say so, and use our Chat or write to hello@bitcoinartwear.com instead.

How long. We keep the Recording and the full Transcript for 12 Months and then delete them. We keep them that long because Complaints, Returns and Card Chargebacks can come many Months after a Purchase, and the Recording shows what was promised. The short Summary stays in your Customer History, as an Email would, until you ask us to delete it.

Who helps us. Our Voice Provider runs the Call, an AI Provider writes the Summary, and a Location Service finds the Country of a Browser Call. They process the Call only on our behalf and may do so outside the EU, as described under International Users in our Privacy Policy. We do not use your Recordings to train AI Models.

Your Rights. You can ask for a Copy of your Recording, or object to it being kept, by writing to hello@bitcoinartwear.com. We answer within one Month.
